  78. INTRODUCTION:
  79. ------------
  80. Thankyou for buying F1 Licenceware music Vol 2;  F1 ROCK.  I hope that you
  81. find a use for some of the modules on the disk. Look out for further disks
  82. in the range - F1 Slow Music,  F1 Blues,  F1 Funk  and so on.

  85. I`ve changed the format of the disk from that of Vol 1, in that it doesn`t use 
  86. NPlay any more. Instead, Protracker itself loads up, and you must load the 
  87. modules from within the program.  To do this, cliclk on DiskOp, then on DF0:.
  88. A list of modules will come up in the window, to load one, just click on
  89. it once. Then, click on MainMenu (in the topleft corner) then on Play.
  90.  
  91. The music is all powerpacked to fit more onto the disk, and may need to be
  92. unpacked before it can be used.

  94. The songs are:
  95.  
  96.       Envelope:  This one has a sort of jazzfunk feel to it because of the
  97.                 use of organs for the main tune. I tried to make the chorus
  98.            quite heavy, and it all builds up to a change in tempo for
  99.          the middle 8.
  100.  
  101.       Rock1:     Rock1 is quite a small module. The main structure of the
  102.           song was inspired by Led Zeppelin. The lead tune is taken by
  103.          a saxaphone.
  104.  
  105.       EverywhereYouLook: This one is quite a slow piece of music, but it 
  106.                          builds up to a fast chorus with brass and so on. 
  107.                          The first bit is repeated on the third verse.
  108.  
  109.       Beat:      This is quite a laid back song, with simple chord changes,
  110.                  but it manages to sound quite distinctive because of the 
  111.                  use of samples.
  112.  
  113.       Summerhearts: This one`s quite old. Unfortunately, it`s also quite
  114.                     large, as the samples used are rather big.
  115.  
  116.       MentalRevenge: MentalRevenge is a very old module. It has a sort of
  117.                      spooky, brooding feel to it (well, I think it does,
  118.                      anyway). It is based on the music to a gang-war film
  119.                      I say a few years ago. The synth lead bit is the
  120.                  weakest part of the song. If by any chance you feel that
  121.                      you must have this module, but without the crap bit (!)
  122.                      then write and let me know and I`ll change it.

  124.       F1Licenceware: This module is supposed to be a sort of `theme tune` for
  125.                      F1Licenceware. It draws from Led Zeppelin and Jimi
  126.                      Hendrix in it`s changing drum rhythms and use of guitar.
  127.                      It`s one of the more heavy modules on the disk.

  130. If any of the above songs are almost perfect for your game but not quite,
  131. then send me a disk, tell me which part(s) you don`t like, and I`ll do my
  132. best to change it for you.  How`s that for value for money, eh?!

  134. If you`re interested in hearing any more music by me, then look out for
  135. `Musically Challenged` (available now as PD) and `Melodically Correct`
  136. Also look out for FOP 4...

  138. F1 Slow Music is almost complete and will be coming out soon. Most of the
  139. songs are already complete, and are more laid back and melodic than the
  140. ones on this disk. Just buy it, OK?!
